A resident in Barangay Kingking, Pantukan town, Compostela Valley Province looks for gold in the Kingking River. People in this village get an average of 2 milligrams of gold daily, valued at around P200. The river carries gold deposits from the small-scale mining communities of Panganason, and Napnapan, site of the recent landslide which killed twenty eight people.
