BEACH CROW. Contrary to what many believe, the uwak (crow, a bird of the genus Corvu) is not a nocturnal bird. Here in Isla Jardin del Mar beach resort in Barangay Gumasa, Glan, Sarangani, about an hour from General Santos City, these black birds, photographed on Tuesday (1 March 2022), would greet beach goers with their crowing and playful flight among cottages by the beach front.
