The Panul-iran Steel Bridge in Barangay Abuno in Iligan City, which collapsed when Tropical Storm Basyang hit the area on 6 February 2026, has finally been rebuilt and is already “fully passable” as of 20 June 2026, according to the Department of Public Works and Highways. The bridge connects Iligan City to the municipality of Tagoloan in Lanao del Norte, and part of the preferred route for Marawi-bound motorists.
