Backhoes from the Department of Public Works and Highways work overtime on Thursday (18 December 2025) to build the temporary road that will allow heavy trucks to pass through the zigzag road in Sitio Kipolot, Barangay Palacapao in the municipality of Quezon, Bukidnon. A landslide on October 18 halted traffic along the Davao-Bukidnon Highway, but light vehicles could pass through with a hastily built makeshift road. DPWH-10 announced that the four-lane detour road will be ready by the first or second week of January 2026.
