A father carrying his infant child crosses the Tubod River in Iligan City on a makeshift bridge Sunday morning (1 December 2024) as the government is rebuilding the Merila Bridge that connects Barangays Ubaldo Laya and Tubod. The bridge first collapsed during a flood in 2022, then washed away by another flood last year.
