Translocating Eagles to Leyte

Dr. Jayson Ibañez, Philippine Eagle Foundation director for operations, and animal keeper Dominic Tadena carry a pair of Philippine Eagles upon arrival in the mountainous village of Kagbana in Burauen, Leyte on Tuesday (11 June 2024).

The eagles were translocated from Davao City via a Philippine Air Force C-295 plane and set to be released to the wild on June 28.
