Store attendants prepare bottled durian preserves at a fruit stand in Davao City on Tuesday, 12 March 2024. According to the store owner, they have prepared about 4,000 bottled durian jams for Muslim buyers in Marawi City, Cotabato City and even in Metro Manila.
The durian preserves will be consumed by Muslims during Iftar (breaking the fast at sunset) during this Ramadan season.
