Okir for the Torogan

Craftsmen carve okir design on planks of wood on Tuesday (1 August 2023). These will be used for the traditional Meranaw royal house known as “torogan” being built for the Kadayawan Cultural Village inside Magsaysay Park in Davao City.



The village will showcase replicas of traditional houses of all the 11 tribes found in the city for the month-long Kadayawan Festival.
