Students of the University of the Philippines-Mindanao in Davao City walk out of their classrooms to gather at the atrium in solidarity with fellow students in other UP campuses nationwide on 20 August 2019, the UP Day of Walkout and Protest.
UP Student Regent John Isaac Punzalan had earlier said they “oppose the proposed police and military intervention in our university and to defend our academic freedom.
