SPEAR FISHING. As old as time, spear fishing continues to this day, as demonstrated by this fisherfolk at Rock Island, Barangay Cambangan in the municipality of Hinatuan in Surigao del Sur on Saturda (11 August 2018). This method of fishing uses homemade spear guns and is considered environment-friendly as it does not damage the marine ecosystem with its highly selective targetting technique .
