Mubarak Macabanding Paingco, a native of Pantao Ragat in Lanao del Norte who grew up in Iligan City, addresses his fellow graduates during the pre-commencement program of the College
of Science and Mathematics, College of Nursing and School of Graduate Studies in Mindanao State University-Iligan Institute of Technology on Monday (July 3, 2017). Paingco, who earned a bachelor’s degree in General Biology garnered a cumulative grade point average of 1.10268 to become the first Muslim summa cum laude of MSU-IIT and the institute’s only summa cum laude this school year.

He will deliver another valedictory address on July 5 during the school’s commencement exercise.
