A real traditional Yakan wedding takes place at the mock Basilan cultural village inside the ARMM compound on Thursday (18 Dec 2014). Both bride and groom wore face paints and were garbed in authentic Yakan attires.
The Yakans, one of the 13 ethno-linguistic groups that make up the Bangsamoro, inhabit mostly the island of Basilan.
