A New People’s Army guerrilla and one of the four policemen who were seized in Alegria, Surigao del Norte by the rebel group last July 10 bid each other goodbye during their release on July 29.

The release came after the declaration of a five-day truce between government and rebel forces in Surigao del Norte province and three towns of Agusan del Norte.
