SPEEDY TRIAL. Bai Jalilah Maguid, wife of Superintendent Abusama Maguid, then provincial police chief of Maguindanao, narrates her husband was attending to ballistics examinations in the provincial headquarters on November 23, 2009 when the massacre happened. She said it was Sukarno Dicay, her husband’s deputy, who was in charge of operations. Maguid is a member of 1123 Advocates, an organization of families of policemen who allegedly were not involved in the massacre and who are demanding a “separate and speedy” trial for them.
