FLOODED EVACUATION CENTER. Hundreds of residents are currently staying at the municipal gymnasium in Mainit town,Surigao del Norte due to continuous heavy rains. At least 1,200 families were displaced in 14 of 21 barangays in the lakeshore town when Lake Mainit overflowed Tuesday night, turning portions of the Agusan del Norte-Surigao del Norte highway into a virtual sea, and the Mainit gym also flooded.
