Datu Mastor Salendab, who claims to be an associate of jailed former Maguindanao governor Andal Ampatuan Sr., came forward in a press conference in Davao City September 17 to defend former Mindanao Development Authority chief Jesus Dureza against allegations that he received a P10-million bribe for the dismissal of the rebellion case against Andal Sr. Prosecution witness Lakmudin Saliao testified that the Ampatuan patriarch gave a P10-million bribe to Dureza and several military officials. Dureza has also denied the accusation.
