The explosion hit Manay Video Bar reportedly owned by retired Marine MSgt Felix Cordizal at around 9pm.
The victims were immediately brought to the Trauma Hospital of the 3rd Marine Brigade at Camp Bautista in Jolo for medical treatment.
“Members of the Jolo Internal Defense Force and Explosive Ordinance responded to secure and conduct investigation to determine the type of explosive used,” said Maj. Roel Ebreo of Task Force Comet.
Task Force Comet identified the two enlisted personnel as Pfc Mark Antony Taborno and Pfc Jun Cani, and the four civilians as Jermalyn Flores, Taya Adjail, Laila Rojas, and Haidi Flores.
